Movement not only benefits health, it lifts your mood and helps balance your emotional as well as your physical body
Physical movement helps balance, coordination, self-esteem and body awareness. Movement associated with drama leads to improvements in adaptive social behavior, body movement and gestures help children absorb ideas better and can act as memory aids. both in learning and recalling one's personal past. Movement reflects not only your level of wellness, but your entire personality and the way you see yourself taking your place in the world.
Movement helps you learn, yet so many of us spend our time on our ass!

So shake those tail feathers!
Research suggests that dancing is one of the best leisure activities to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Combining music with activity can bring a new energy and interest to the most common movements. The right music almost demands that you move, and activity can take on a life of its own. Try playing some music with a good beat as you do chores at home; and put some dance moves in to your stride as you go about your daily routine and shake those tail feathers!
Time is not important, until you're running out of it.
Don't let vitality pass you by!
When we become stuck physically, we can become stuck mentally, or visa versa. An open, fully functioning body will experience a full range of movement in the body/mind/spirit. And, perhaps the most beautiful of all is that an open body is like a clear channel not holding on to the past, nor anxious about the future.

Fitness can be fun when you add some music, common kick up your heels
Studies indicate a positive correlation between music lessons/participation and memory, mathematical achievement, reading ability, intelligence ratings, grades and test scores.
A number of researchers have suggested a link between music and the ability to understand inter-relationships. Musical activity such as playing an instrument requires the same neural firing patterns needed in other forms of reasoning. These firing patterns can be enhanced through repeated use so music can be used to strengthen connections in the brain, particularly in young children. Researchers have also found that listening to words as they are sung improves ability to distinguish linguistic patterns, suggesting that music can facilitate language learning and encourage the development of auditory discrimination. Similar areas of the brain are activated when listening to or playing music and speaking or processing language.Additionally, music training can help individuals perceive emotions in speech which may increase their ability to interpret human behavior.
